Walking
From the center of Assisi, start at Piazza del Comune. Head northeast on Via Giuseppe Mazzini. Continue straight for about 600 meters until you reach the intersection with Via San Francesco. Turn left onto Via San Francesco and follow it as it curves right into Via San Damiano. Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the base of Monte Tezio. Look for the marked trails leading up the mountain.
Public Transport
Take a bus from Assisi to Perugia. Start at the Assisi bus station near the train station. Look for the bus heading to Perugia (usually marked with 'Perugia' or 'Piazza Italia'). The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Perugia, you can either take a taxi or walk towards Monte Tezio, which is about 5 kilometers from the bus station. If walking, head north on Via Cesare Battisti, then take Via dei Priori until you reach the base of the mountain.
