Walking
From the central Piazza del Comune in Assisi, head east towards Via San Francesco. Continue straight until you reach the Basilica di San Francesco d'Assisi. From there, turn left onto Via Frate Elia and follow it until you reach the end of the street. Then, take a right onto Via Porta Perlici. Continue on this road, which will lead you out of Assisi and towards the surrounding countryside. After about 15-20 minutes of walking, you will come to a bus stop where you can catch the bus to Perugia. Take the bus towards Perugia and get off at the stop closest to Via Osteria del Colle. From there, it should be a short walk to Monti Del Tezio.
Public Transport
From the main bus station in Assisi, take a bus towards Perugia (look for signs or ask for the bus number). The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Perugia, get off at the stop nearest to Via Osteria del Colle. From the bus stop, you can either use a map app on your phone or ask locals for directions to Monti Del Tezio, which is a short walk from there.
Biking
If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike in Assisi. Start at the central Piazza del Comune and head east towards Via San Francesco, then onto Via Frate Elia. Continue out of the city and take the scenic route towards Perugia. Follow the biking trails that lead through the countryside, which will take you to the area near Via Osteria del Colle. Keep an eye on your map to ensure you're heading in the right direction towards Monti Del Tezio.
