From the Basilica of Santa Chiara, head southeast on Viale G. Marconi towards Via del Filaro. Continue straight on Via del Filaro until you reach the intersection with Via San Francesco. Turn left onto Via San Francesco and follow it until you reach the Piazza del Comune. From here, take Via Portica, which leads you towards the ancient walls. Continue on this road; you will see signs for 'Mura Antiche' leading you to Via Fonti di Moiano.

Starting at the Assisi train station, exit the station and turn left onto Via Giovanni Di Franceso. Follow this road, which will turn into Via della Repubblica. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Viale Marconi. Turn right onto Viale Marconi and walk straight to the Basilica of Santa Chiara. From there, follow the previous directions to reach Mura Antiche.

If you are near the Piazza del Comune, start by heading southwest towards Via San Francesco. Continue along this route until you reach Via Fonti di Moiano, at which point you will start to see the ancient walls of Mura Antiche. It's a direct path that takes you through the heart of Assisi.
