Walking
Starting from the Basilica of San Francesco, head northeast on Via Frate Elia toward Via San Francesco. Continue straight onto Via San Francesco, then turn left onto Via Santa Chiara. Follow Via Santa Chiara until you reach Piazza Santa Chiara. From the square, take Via Porta Perlici, which is located on the right side of the piazza. Continue along Via Porta Perlici for about 500 meters until you reach ORTO DEGLI AGHI, located at number 6.

If you are at the Assisi train station, exit the station and start walking towards Via del Convento. Continue on this road until you reach the main street, Via Giovanni Paolo II. Turn left and proceed up the hill toward the historic center of Assisi. Follow the signs to the Basilica of San Francesco. Once there, follow the previous walking directions from the Basilica.
