Turn left onto Via San Francesco and walk for about 400 meters until you reach the Basilica of San Francesco. From there, follow the signs towards San Damiano, which is located approximately 1.5 kilometers from the basilica. The path will take you through the beautiful countryside, and you will see signs directing you to San Damiano. It takes about 20-30 minutes to walk there.
