From the center of Assisi, head towards Piazza del Comune. Once you reach the piazza, walk through the main square and continue straight onto Via San Francesco. Follow this road until you reach the intersection with Via Santa Maria. Turn left onto Via Santa Maria and continue walking until you reach the bus station at Piazza della Repubblica. From there, take the local bus towards Spello. Get off at the stop 'Spello - Piazza Kennedy' which is the closest stop to Porta Consolare. The landmark will be a short walk away from the bus stop.
