From the Basilica, take Via Santa Chiara and walk straight until you reach the intersection with Via del Seminario. Turn left onto Via del Seminario, and continue walking until you arrive at the next intersection with Via Torri di Properzio. Turn right onto Via Torri di Properzio. Continue walking straight for about 15 minutes, and you will see Venus' Gate (Porta Venere) on your left at Via Torri di Properzio, 37.
