From the center of Assisi, start at the Basilica di San Francesco. Head southeast on Via San Francesco towards Via del Comune. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via Santa Chiara. Turn right onto Via Santa Chiara and walk until you reach Piazza del Comune. From the piazza, take Via Portica until you reach the end of the street, then turn left onto Via della Regola. Follow this road for about 1.5 km, and you will see the Santuario del Sacro Tugurio di Rivotorto on your left at Via della Regola di S. Francesco, 2.

From the main bus station in Assisi, take bus number 5 towards Rivotorto. The bus will take approximately 10 minutes, and you will want to get off at the Rivotorto stop.
