Walking
If you are starting from the Basilica di San Francesco, head northeast on Via San Francesco. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via Portica. Turn left onto Via Portica and follow it until you reach Piazza del Comune. The Torre del Popolo is located at the northern side of the square. It should take about 15-20 minutes to walk there.

From the Assisi train station, exit and walk towards the main road (Via Giovanni Paolo II). Turn right and follow the road until you reach the foot of the hill. Ascend towards the city center, following signs for 'Centro' or 'Piazza del Comune'. Once you arrive at Piazza del Comune, you will see the Torre del Popolo on the northern side of the square. This walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes.

If you are in the vicinity of the Rocca Maggiore, walk downhill towards Via del Comune. Continue straight until you reach Piazza del Comune. The Torre del Popolo will be visible at the north end of the square. This route should take around 10-15 minutes.

From the Chiesa Nuova (New Church), head southeast on Via delle Botteghe until you reach Piazza del Comune. You will encounter the Torre del Popolo on your left side as you enter the square. This walk should take about 5-10 minutes.
