Start at the Basilica of St. Francis, which is one of the most famous landmarks in Assisi. From the basilica, exit and head east towards Via San Francesco. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via Fontebella. Turn left onto Via Fontebella. Follow Via Fontebella for about 10-15 minutes until you see St. Francis Gate on your right side.
