If you are starting from the central railway station of Bari (Stazione Bari Centrale), exit the station and head towards Via Giuseppe Capruzzi. Walk straight for about 500 meters until you reach Corso Cavour. Turn left onto Corso Cavour and continue walking for approximately 900 meters. You will come to a large square called Piazza del Ferrarese. From here, continue straight onto Via Venezia. Follow this street until you see a sign for Largo Abate Elia. The Basilica of Saint Nicholas will be located at Largo Abate Elia, 13, which is just a short walk from here.

If you are near the Bari Cathedral, you can take a local bus. Look for the bus stop near the cathedral, and board line 16 or line 19. After a short ride of about 8 minutes, get off at the 'Largo Abate Elia' stop. The Basilica of Saint Nicholas will be directly in front of you once you exit the bus.

From the popular area of Bari Vecchia, walk towards the main square, Piazza Mercantile. Once at the piazza, head towards the waterfront and take a left onto Via Venezia. Keep walking straight until you reach Largo Abate Elia, where you will find the Basilica of Saint Nicholas. This walk should take about 15 minutes.
