To reach Castellana Grotte from Bari, start at the Bari Centrale train station. Look for the bus terminal adjacent to the station. Purchase a ticket for the 'Bari - Castellana Grotte' line, which is operated by the company 'FSE'. Buses typically run every 30 minutes. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride which lasts about 45 minutes. Get off at the 'Castellana Grotte' stop, which is located close to the entrance of the caves.

Train and Bus
From Bari, take a train from Bari Centrale to the nearby town of Putignano. The train journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Putignano train station, exit the station and walk to the bus stop located just outside. Here, board the bus heading to Castellana Grotte. The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Castellana Grotte' stop, which is near the entrance to the caves.

Walking
If you find yourself in the center of Castellana Grotte, the caves are within walking distance from most local accommodations. From the main square (Piazza Garibaldi), head south on Via Roma. Continue straight until you reach Via Putignano, then turn left. Follow this road for about 1 km, and you will see signs directing you to the entrance of the Castellana Grotte on your right.
