If you are in Bari, head to Bari Centrale train station. Purchase a ticket to Trani, which is approximately a 30-minute ride. Once you arrive in Trani, exit the train station and head towards the main road, Via Mazzini. Turn right onto Via Mazzini and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Corso Vittorio Emanuele II. Turn left onto Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, and continue walking until you reach P.za Re Manfredi. The Castello Svevo di Trani will be on your left at the square.

From Bari, you can also take a bus to Trani. Head to the Bari bus station (Stazione dei Bus) and find a bus that is heading to Trani. The journey takes about 45 minutes.
