Bus
From Bari city center, head to the main bus station, 'Stazione di Bari'. Look for the buses heading towards Conversano. You can take the 'SITA' bus line that goes directly to Conversano. The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the bus stop in Conversano, walk towards Via S. Benedetto, which is about a 10-minute walk. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions to the Monastero di San Benedetto.
Train
From Bari Centrale train station, take a train towards Monopoli. Get off at the Conversano train station, which is the nearest station to the monastery. The train ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Conversano station, exit and take a local bus or walk for about 20 minutes towards Via S. Benedetto. You can ask for directions if needed, as it's a well-known place.
Walking
If you are already in Conversano, you can walk to the Monastero di San Benedetto. Starting from the main square, Piazza Castello, head southeast on Via Roma, then turn left onto Via S. Benedetto. The monastery will be on your right after a short walk. This route is approximately 15-20 minutes and is quite scenic.
