Bus
From Bergamo, take the bus line 1 from the city center (stop at 'Piazza Marconi'). The bus will take you directly to the train station 'Bergamo - Stazione'. Once there, purchase a ticket to Varenna, which is one of the access points to Lake Como. The bus ride will take about 15 minutes. After that, take a train from 'Bergamo - Stazione' to 'Varenna-Esino'. The train journey will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Varenna, follow the signs to the ferry terminal to reach different parts of Lake Como.
