Ca' Granda: A Glimpse into Milan's Rich History

Getting There

• Bus

  From Bergamo, head to the Bergamo bus station (Stazione Autolinee). Take the direct bus to Milan, which is available frequently. Once you arrive at Milan's Autostazione Lampugnano, transfer to the Metro Line 1 (Red Line) towards Sesto 1 Maggio FS. Get off at Duomo station. From Duomo, walk towards Via Festa del Perdono, which is about a 15-minute walk. Follow Via dei Della Spiga until you reach Via Festa del Perdono, and the Ca' Granda will be on your right.

• Train

  Go to Bergamo Train Station (Stazione di Bergamo). Take a train to Milano Centrale. Once you arrive at Milano Centrale, follow the signs to the Metro. Take Metro Line 3 (Yellow Line) towards Comasina and change at Duomo. From Duomo, exit the station and walk along Via Vittorio Emanuele II until you reach Via Festa del Perdono. The Ca' Granda is located at number 7 on that street.

• Taxi

  You can take a taxi directly from anywhere in Bergamo to Ca' Granda in Milan. Simply tell the driver the address: Via Festa del Perdono, 7, 20122 Milano MI. The journey will take approximately 50 minutes to 1 hour depending on traffic. Make sure to ask the driver for an estimated fare before you start your journey.

• Walking

  If you are already in Milan, make your way to the nearest Metro station. From the Duomo, walk towards Via Vittorio Emanuele II and continue until you reach the intersection with Via Festa del Perdono. Turn left onto Via Festa del Perdono, and you will find Ca' Granda at number 7. The walk is approximately 15 minutes from the Duomo.
