If you are starting from the central square, Piazza Vecchia, head east towards Via Colleoni. Continue along Via Colleoni, which will take you through the beautiful streets of Bergamo. Follow this street until you reach the intersection with Via Francesco Cucchi. Turn right onto Via Francesco Cucchi, and after a short walk, you will see the Giuseppe Garibaldi Monument on your left.
Public Transport
From the Bergamo Train Station, take the #1 bus towards 'Bergamo Centro' and get off at the stop 'Piazza della Libertà'. From there, walk east along Via XX Settembre until you reach the intersection with Via Francesco Cucchi. Turn left onto Via Francesco Cucchi, and you will find the Giuseppe Garibaldi Monument a short distance ahead on your left.

If you are at the Accademia Carrara, exit the gallery and head towards the nearest bus stop on Via San Giovanni. Take the bus to 'Piazza della Libertà'. Once there, walk east along Via XX Settembre, then turn left onto Via Francesco Cucchi, and the Giuseppe Garibaldi Monument will be on your left.
