Getting There

  • Public Transport

    To reach P.za del Duomo in Milan from Bergamo, start by taking the train from Bergamo Railway Station. Trains to Milan depart frequently, so check the schedule for the next train to Milano Centrale. The journey takes about 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Milano Centrale, follow the signs to the Metro station. Take Metro Line 3 (the yellow line) in the direction of Duomo. After 3 stops, you will arrive at Duomo station. Take the exit that leads to Piazza del Duomo and you will find yourself in the heart of Milan's iconic square.

  • Bus

    You can also take a bus from Bergamo to Milan. Look for the FlixBus or Orioshuttle services at the Bergamo bus station. The journey takes approximately 1 hour, depending on traffic. The bus will drop you off at the Milan Central Station. From there, you can take Metro Line 3 (yellow line) towards Duomo and get off at the Duomo station. Follow the signs to exit towards Piazza del Duomo.

It's about a 20-minute walk, and as you get closer, you will see the stunning cathedral coming into view.
