Walking
If you are already in the Duomo area, the Terrazza del Duomo is just a short walk away. Head towards Piazza del Duomo, which is the large square in front of the cathedral. The entrance to the Terrazza del Duomo is located on the right side of the cathedral. Look for signs indicating the entrance to the rooftop. Once you find the entrance, be prepared to purchase a ticket to access the terrace, which typically costs around €10 to €15.
Public Transport (Metro)
If you're further away but still in the city center, you can take the Metro Line 1 (Red Line) to Duomo station. Once you exit the station, follow the signs pointing towards Piazza del Duomo. After you emerge from the Metro, you will see the stunning cathedral right in front of you. From there, proceed to the entrance for the Terrazza del Duomo on the right side of the cathedral. Remember that a metro ticket costs about €2 for a single journey.
