From the central area of Bergamo, head towards the main square (Piazza Vecchia). Once you reach the square, take Via Colleoni, which leads towards the Città Alta (Upper Town). Follow this road until you reach the funicular station (Funicolare Città Alta). Take the funicular up to the Città Alta. Once you exit the funicular, walk straight onto Viale Vittorio Emanuele II. Continue walking until you reach Piazzale S. Agostino, where the Saint Augustine Gate is located.
