    If you are at the central Piazza Maggiore, head southwest towards Via Rizzoli. Continue straight until you reach Via Ugo Bassi, then turn right. Walk down Via Ugo Bassi until you reach the intersection with Via Indipendenza. Cross the street and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via S. Vitale. Turn left onto Via S. Vitale and walk straight. Continue until you see Via S. Vittore on your right. Turn onto Via S. Vittore and you will find the Church of San Vittore at number 40.

    From the central train station (Bologna Centrale), exit and head to the bus stop located outside the station. Look for bus number 30 or 34. Board the bus and ride it for about 10 minutes, getting off at the stop 'Piazza Malpighi'. From there, walk down Via Malpighi, which will eventually lead to Via S. Vittore. Turn left onto Via S. Vittore and proceed to number 40 where the Church of San Vittore is located.
