If you are driving, head south on the SS38 road from the town of Sondrio. Continue for approximately 30 km until you reach the town of S-chanf. Once in S-chanf, look for signs pointing towards Fuorcla Trupchun. Turn onto the local road that leads to the hiking area. The parking area for Fuorcla Trupchun will be on your left after about 5 minutes of driving.

To reach Fuorcla Trupchun using public transportation, take a train from Tirano to Zernez. From Zernez, board the bus service that heads to S-chanf. The bus stop in S-chanf is located near the village center. From the bus stop, you can either walk to the hiking area, which will take about 30 minutes, or ask locals for directions to the trailhead leading to Fuorcla Trupchun.
