Getting There

  • Car

    Start by driving south on Via Roma from the center of Bormio. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto SS38, heading towards Tirano. After approximately 15 kilometers, follow the signs for Pontresina and merge onto the Engadin road (SS27). Continue on this road for about 25 kilometers. As you approach Pontresina, turn left onto Via Maistra. The Pontresina Tourist Information will be on your left at Via Maistra 133.

  • Public Transportation

    From Bormio, walk to the Bormio Bus Station located at Via Funivia. Take the bus service heading towards Tirano. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Once at Tirano, transfer to a train towards St. Moritz. Alight at Pontresina station. From the station, it is a 10-minute walk: head east on Via Maistra, and the Pontresina Tourist Information will be on your left at Via Maistra 133.
