If you are driving from Sondrio, take the SS38 road towards Tirano. Continue on the SS38 until you reach the junction for the SS29 towards Pontresina. Follow the SS29 for approximately 20 kilometers until you arrive in Pontresina. Once in the town, follow signs for Morteratsch Glacier, which will guide you to the parking area. From the parking lot, it's a short walk to see the glacier.
