From the main port of Capri, take a ferry to Naples. Once you arrive at the Naples port (Molo Beverello), walk towards the exit. You will find the metro station 'Stazione Marittima' nearby. Take the metro Line 1 towards Garibaldi. Get off at 'Garibaldi' station. From the station, walk towards Piazza Garibaldi and follow the signs for 'Corso Umberto I'. Continue walking straight until you reach 'Piazza S. Francesco a Capuana', where Porta Capuana is located. The landmark will be on your right.

After taking the ferry from Capri to Naples, head to the Naples central train station (Napoli Centrale) which is a short walk from the port. From there, take the metro Line 2 towards Pozzuoli. Get off at 'Piazza Garibaldi'. Exit the station and walk towards 'Corso Umberto I'. Continue straight until you reach 'Piazza S. Francesco a Capuana'. Porta Capuana will be easily visible in the square.
