Walking
If you are starting from the central train station (Stazione di Catania Centrale), exit the station and head southwest on Via Etnea. Walk straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach Piazza del Duomo. As you approach the square, you will see the stunning Catania Cathedral on your left and the iconic Fountain of the Elephant directly in the center of the square.

From the Stazione di Catania Centrale, you can take bus number 457 or 431 towards 'Piazza Duomo'. The bus ride takes approximately 10-15 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Piazza Duomo'. Once you step off the bus, you will see the Fountain of the Elephant right in front of you in the square.

If you are at the famous fish market (La Pescheria), exit the market and walk towards Via Vittorio Emanuele II. Head northwest for about 300 meters until you reach Piazza del Duomo. The Fountain of the Elephant will be visible as you enter the square, located prominently in the center.
