Walking
If you are starting from the Catania Cathedral (Duomo di Catania), head east on Via Vittorio Emanuele II. Continue straight for about 350 meters until you reach the intersection with Via Etnea. Turn left onto Via Etnea. After about 200 meters, you will see Piazza Università on your right, just past the intersection with Via Sangiuliano.
Public Transport (Bus)
From Catania Central Station, take bus number 429 or 448. The bus stop is located on Piazza Giovanni XXIII, which is in front of the station. Board the bus and travel for about 10 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Piazza Università'. From there, you can easily access the square, which will be just a short walk ahead.
Walking
Starting from the Bellini Theatre (Teatro Massimo Bellini), exit the theatre and walk south on Via Teatro Massimo. After about 300 meters, turn right onto Via Etnea. Continue walking straight for approximately 400 meters, and you will reach Piazza Università on your left, just before the intersection with Via Sangiuliano.

If you are near the local market (Fera 'o Luni), head south on Via Plebiscito. Continue straight for about 600 meters until you reach the intersection with Via Etnea. Turn right onto Via Etnea and walk for about 300 meters. Piazza Università will be on your left.
