Bus
From Catania, head to the main bus terminal, which is located at Piazza Papa Giovanni XXIII. Look for the AST (Azienda Siciliana Trasporti) bus service that operates routes to Taormina. Purchase a ticket to Taormina. The bus journey takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Taormina bus station, exit and walk towards the main street, Corso Umberto I. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Via Fontana Vecchia. Turn left onto Via Fontana Vecchia, and after a short walk, you will find Italian Opera Taormina at number 3.
Train + Bus
Start at Catania Centrale train station. Board a train towards Messina. Disembark at the Taormina-Giardini station (approximately a 40-minute ride). From there, take the local bus (Etnatrasporti) that goes to Taormina. The bus ride will take about 15 minutes. Get off at the main bus stop in Taormina. From the bus stop, walk towards Corso Umberto I, then continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via Fontana Vecchia. Turn left onto Via Fontana Vecchia, and you will find Italian Opera Taormina at number 3.

If you are already within Taormina, you can easily walk to Italian Opera Taormina. Find your way to Corso Umberto I, the main street of Taormina. Head towards the direction of Piazza IX Aprile. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Via Fontana Vecchia.
