If you are in Borgo-Sanzio, the easiest way to reach Ursino Castle is to walk. Start by heading towards Via Etnea, one of the main streets in Catania. From Borgo-Sanzio, walk south on Via Monfalcone until you reach the intersection with Via Etnea. At this point, turn left onto Via Etnea and continue walking until you reach Piazza Duomo. This should take approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on your pace. Once you arrive at Piazza Duomo, you will see the Cathedral of Catania. From here, take Via Vittorio Emanuele II, which leads directly towards Ursino Castle. Follow this road for about 10 minutes until you reach the castle located at P.za Federico di Svevia, 21.

Public Transportation - Bus
Alternatively, you can take a bus to reach Ursino Castle. From Borgo-Sanzio, walk to the nearest bus stop on Via Monfalcone. Take bus number 431 or 433 in the direction of the city center. The bus ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Piazza Cavour', which is close to the historical center. From there, walk towards Via Vittorio Emanuele II and follow this street for about 10 minutes until you arrive at Ursino Castle. Make sure to check the bus schedule and purchase your ticket at a local tabacchi (tobacco shop) before boarding, as tickets cannot be bought on the bus.
