Walking
From the main square in Taormina, Piazza IX Aprile, head west on Corso Umberto I, the main street filled with shops and cafes. Continue walking until you reach the end of the street where it meets the intersection with Via Teatro Greco. At this point, turn left onto Via Teatro Greco and walk straight until you reach the bus station. From there, take the public bus to Catania. The bus will take approximately 1 hour to reach Catania. Once you arrive at the Catania bus station, you can either walk or take a taxi to P.za Federico di Svevia, 30.
Bus
Begin at the main bus station in Taormina, which is located near the center of town. Purchase a ticket for a bus heading to Catania. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride, which will take about 1 hour. After arriving at the Catania bus station, exit the bus and walk towards the city center. Follow the signs for 'P.za Federico di Svevia,' which is a short 15-minute walk from the bus station. You will pass several shops and cafes along the way, making it a pleasant stroll to your destination.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Taormina to Catania. Taxis can be found at various points in Taormina, such as near the main square or your hotel. Inform the driver that you would like to go to P.za Federico di Svevia, 30 in Catania. The drive will take approximately 45 minutes, depending on traffic. This option allows you to relax and enjoy the scenery without having to navigate public transportation.
