Car
From Cervinia, head south on the SR46 road towards the junction with the A5 motorway. Follow the signs for the A5 towards Aosta. After about 37 km, take the exit towards SS26 in the direction of Châtillon. Continue on SS26 for approximately 20 km until you reach the town of Châtillon. From there, take the SS405 road towards Valtournenche and continue for about 12 km until you reach the village of Valtournenche. Follow the signs to Zermatt, which is approximately another 10 km away. Note that Zermatt itself is a car-free village, so you will need to park your car in Täsch and take a train to Zermatt. The Leisee is accessible by foot from the Zermatt train station.
Public Transportation
From Cervinia, you can take a bus to Châtillon. The bus departs from the main bus terminal in Cervinia. Once you arrive in Châtillon, transfer to a bus heading to Valtournenche. After reaching Valtournenche, take the local bus to Täsch, which is the last point accessible by car. In Täsch, you will find a train station where you can board a train to Zermatt. Once in Zermatt, follow the signs towards the Leisee, which is within walking distance of the train station.
