Car
If you're driving from the center of Chianti, take the SR222 road towards Siena. Continue on this road until you reach the junction with the SR71. Take the SR71 towards Arezzo. After about 20 kilometers, keep an eye out for signs for Lucignano. Once you enter the town, follow the signs to Fortezza Medicea, located at Via Fortezze, 10. There is parking available nearby.
Public Transportation
To reach Fortezza Medicea by public transport, start by taking a bus from your location in Chianti to Arezzo. Make sure to check the schedule for the CTP (Consorzio Trasporti Pubblici) buses. Once in Arezzo, transfer to a bus heading towards Lucignano. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Get off at the stop for Lucignano Centro, then walk approximately 10 minutes to Via Fortezze, 10, where the Fortezza Medicea is located.
