If you're driving, head towards Greve in Chianti. From Florence, take the SR222 road towards Greve in Chianti. Once you're in Greve, follow the signs for 'Castello di Verrazzano.' The castle is located about 5 km from the town center. Drive along Via Chiantigiana (SR222) and turn onto Via Castello di Verrazzano. The entrance to the castle is on your left. Parking is available on site.

To reach Castello di Verrazzano by public transport, take a bus from Florence to Greve in Chianti. The bus service is operated by 'SITA' and departs from the Santa Maria Novella bus station. Once in Greve, you can either walk (about 5 km) or take a local taxi to the castle. Walking will take approximately 1 hour, and you will need to follow Via Chiantigiana (SR222) towards the castle. If you choose the taxi, it should cost around 10 to 15 euros.
