Car
If you're driving, head towards Gaiole in Chianti. From the center of Gaiole, take the SP8 road heading towards Radda in Chianti. After about 4 kilometers, look for signs to Castello di Meleto. Turn onto the local road that leads directly to the castle, which is located approximately 1 kilometer off the SP8. The castle's address is CCXH+J7, Località Castello di Meleto, 53013 Gaiole In Chianti SI.
Public Transportation
To reach Meleto Castle via public transport, take a bus from Siena to Gaiole in Chianti. The bus service operates several times a day, and the journey takes about 1 hour. Once in Gaiole, you can either walk (approximately 4 km) or take a taxi to the castle. If walking, head north on Via Roma, then turn right onto SP8, and follow the signs for Castello di Meleto. Expect to pay around €15-€20 for a taxi from Gaiole to the castle.
