Car
From Chianti, take the SR222 road towards Florence. Continue on the SR222 for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the outskirts of Florence. As you approach Florence, follow the signs for 'Centro' and merge onto Viale Giovanni Amendola. Continue straight on Viale Giovanni Amendola, which will turn into Via della Libertà. After about 1 kilometer, take a slight left onto Via di San Zanobi. Continue for about 500 meters and turn right onto Via dell'Indipendenza. Follow this road for approximately 1 kilometer, and then turn left onto Via Martelli. Piazza del Duomo will be on your right. Look for parking options nearby, as there is limited street parking in this area.

From Chianti, take a bus from your nearest bus stop to the Florence bus terminal. The most common route is to take the bus to the 'Firenze S.M.N.' (Santa Maria Novella) train station. Once you arrive at the train station, exit and walk towards Via Panzani. Turn left onto Via Panzani and continue straight until you reach Piazza del Duomo. It’s a short walk of about 10 minutes from the train station. Follow the signs to the Cathedral (Duomo) as you approach the square.
