From the center of Florence, take the A1 motorway towards Bologna. After approximately 30 km, take the exit for Barberino di Mugello. Follow the signs for Vicchio on the SP8 road. Continue straight for about 15 km until you reach Vicchio. Once in the town, follow the local signs to Piazza Giotto, which is located in the town center.

From Florence's main train station, Santa Maria Novella, take a train towards Borgo San Lorenzo. Trains run regularly and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Borgo San Lorenzo, transfer to a local bus (Line 1) heading to Vicchio. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the Vicchio stop and walk towards the town center where you will find Piazza Giotto.
