Getting There

Train
From any of the five villages of Cinque Terre (Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, or Riomaggiore), take the train to the nearest major station, which is La Spezia. From La Spezia, switch to a train heading towards Aulla. Get off at the Equi Terme station. Once you arrive, exit the train station and head towards Via Buca. The Equi Terme Caves will be approximately a 15-minute walk from the station.

Bus
If you prefer, you can take a bus from La Spezia to Equi Terme. From any of the five villages of Cinque Terre, first take a train to La Spezia. Once in La Spezia, find the bus station nearby and take the bus towards Equi Terme. The bus journey will take about 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic. After arriving at the Equi Terme stop, walk to Via Buca, where the caves are located.

Hiking
For the adventurous, you can hike to Equi Terme from nearby towns. Start your hike from the village of Fivizzano, which is accessible via train to Aulla followed by a local bus. The hike to Equi Terme from Fivizzano is approximately 10 km and can take around 2-3 hours. Follow marked trails that lead through beautiful landscapes until you reach Via Buca, where the Equi Terme Caves are located.
