Getting There

• Train

  If you are in one of the Cinque Terre villages, such as Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, or Corniglia, take a train to La Spezia. You can purchase tickets at the train station. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at La Spezia, transfer to a train heading to Lerici. This train ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Upon arrival at Lerici, exit the train station and follow the signs to the town center, which is about a 10-minute walk.

• Ferry

  From Monterosso al Mare or Vernazza, you can take a ferry to Lerici. Check the ferry schedule for the most up-to-date departure times. The ferry ride offers stunning views of the coastline and takes about 1 hour. Upon arriving at Lerici's ferry terminal, you can follow the signs to the town center, where Giuseppe Garibaldi Square is located. It’s roughly a 15-minute walk from the terminal.

• Hiking

  For the more adventurous, you can hike from one of the Cinque Terre villages to Lerici. Begin your hike from Riomaggiore, following the trail that leads towards Portovenere. This route offers breathtaking views of the coastline but can take several hours. Once you reach Portovenere, you can take a short bus or taxi to Lerici. The bus ride is about 20 minutes.

• Bus

  From La Spezia, you can take a bus directly to Lerici. Buses leave regularly from La Spezia's central bus station. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Lerici, follow the signs to the town center; Giuseppe Garibaldi Square is easily accessible from the bus stop.
