Getting There

  • Train

    If you are in any of the Cinque Terre villages (Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, or Riomaggiore), take a train to Carrara. The closest major train station to Piazza Alberica is Carrara-Avenza. Check the train schedule and board the train heading toward La Spezia. Once you arrive at Carrara-Avenza station, exit the station and head towards the bus stop to catch bus line 1 towards Carrara. It should take around 10 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Piazza Alberica' or 'Carrara Centro'. From there, you can walk to Piazza Alberica, which is about a 5-minute walk straight ahead.
