If you are coming from the town of Monterosso al Mare, take the train towards La Spezia. Get off at Vernazza station, which is a short ride of about 5 minutes. Once you arrive at Vernazza, follow the signs towards the village center. You will walk along a path that leads you into the charming streets of Vernazza.

Walking
From the Vernazza train station, exit the station and turn left onto Via T. M. M. You will see signs leading to the Doria Tower. Follow this road as it winds through the village, passing by local shops and cafes. As you approach the harbor area, keep walking towards the sea until you reach the waterfront. You will see a path leading upwards on your right. Follow this path, which is marked with signs for Doria Tower. The hike will take approximately 15-20 minutes, and you will enjoy stunning views of the sea and the village. The tower is located at the top of the hill, so prepare for a bit of a climb.

Hiking
If you are in Corniglia or Manarola, you can hike the trail that connects the villages. From Corniglia, take the 'Sentiero Azzurro' trail towards Vernazza. This section of the trail offers breathtaking views of the coastline and will take about 1.5 hours. Upon reaching Vernazza, follow the previous walking instructions to get to the Doria Tower.
