If you are traveling from any of the other Cinque Terre villages, take the train to Monterosso al Mare. The train station is centrally located, making it easy to access on foot. Once you arrive at Monterosso, exit the station and walk towards the beach.

Hiking
From Monterosso al Mare, head towards the northern end of the beach where you will find a path leading up to Punta Mesco. Follow the signs for 'Sentiero Azzurro' (Blue Trail) which is the popular hiking trail connecting the Cinque Terre villages. The hike to Punta Mesco is approximately 1.5 kilometers and should take about 30-40 minutes. The trail has some steep sections, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
