Getting There

  • Car

    From Cortina d'Ampezzo, head northwest on Via Marconi toward Via Roma. Continue on SS51 to the town of Dobbiaco. After approximately 30 minutes of driving, follow the signs for Tre Cime di Lavaredo. You will reach the parking area at Rifugio Auronzo, which is the main access point to Parco Naturale Tre Cime. Note that the parking area requires a fee of around €30 per car during the peak season.

  • Public Transportation

    From Cortina d'Ampezzo, take a bus to Dobbiaco. The bus departs from the main bus station. The journey takes about 45 minutes. Once in Dobbiaco, transfer to a shuttle bus that goes directly to the Tre Cime di Lavaredo area. This shuttle is seasonal and runs every 30-60 minutes, depending on the day. Please check the local bus schedules in advance, as the shuttle may not operate year-round.

  • Hiking

    If you prefer to hike to Parco Naturale Tre Cime, you can start from the Misurina Lake area. From Cortina d'Ampezzo, drive or take a bus to Misurina. From there, follow marked hiking trails that lead to the Tre Cime di Lavaredo. This option is more physically demanding and may take several hours, so ensure you are well-prepared with water, snacks, and a proper map.
