Car
From Cortina d'Ampezzo, head southwest on SS51 towards Auronzo di Cadore. After approximately 28 km, you will reach Auronzo. Follow the signs towards 'Tre Cime di Lavaredo' (3 Peaks) and continue on the road until you reach the parking area for Rifugio Auronzo. The parking fee is around €10 for a day. From the parking area, you will have a short hike of about 30 minutes uphill to reach Rifugio zu den 3 Zinnen.

Public Transportation
Take a bus from Cortina d'Ampezzo to Auronzo di Cadore. The bus departs from the main bus station in Cortina. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and costs around €5-€10. Once in Auronzo, you can either walk to the parking area near Rifugio Auronzo (about 3 km) or look for local shuttles that may take you there. A small fee may be applicable for the shuttle service.

If you prefer a more adventurous option, park your car at the Rifugio Auronzo parking area after paying the parking fee. From there, you can hike to Rifugio zu den 3 Zinnen. The trailhead is well marked, and the hike takes about 30 minutes, offering stunning views of the Dolomites along the way.
