Bologna walking food tour - What a great experience!

Our tour guide Gabriele was brilliant. He was friendly and very informative. There was only 3 of us on the tour so it was easy to get around and experience all the cuisine and learn about the history and culture of this beautiful city. We started off by visiting a bakery and tasted the most delicious sweet pastry and then walked to what seemed a secret location to watch the pasta being made. Here we sampled some different cured meats with a glass of sparkling wine. We then moved on to sample the 8yr 12yr and 25yr old aged balsamic vinegar of Modena which was amazing, although pricey if you wanted to take one home 😉 then we went on to a restaurant and were served 2 types of traditional Pasta along with a glass of red wine, it was totally divine! We stopped by Cremeria La Vecchia Stalla and we finished off with an ice cream, I had biscoff and it was delicious. I would definitely recommend this tour and would like to say a massive thank you to Gabriele our tour guide and the lovely Amelia who we met on the tour, for making it such a wonderful experience. It was worth every penny so don’t hesitate in booking on, it’s a definite must do in Bologna 🥰
