Bus
From the center of Florence, head to the nearest bus stop. You can take bus number 12 from the 'Piazza San Marco' stop, which is easily accessible from the Accademia Gallery or the Duomo. Ride until you reach 'Piazza delle Cure' (approximately 15-20 minutes). From there, transfer to bus number 13 towards 'Piazza Tasso' and get off at 'Largo Enrico Fermi'. The Arcetri Astrophysical Observatory is just a short walk from the bus stop.

If you prefer to walk, start from the center of Florence (like the Duomo). Head southwest on Via dei Servi until you reach Piazza San Marco. Continue straight onto Via dell'Indipendenza, then take Via dei Cavour and follow it until you reach the large park known as Giardino di Boboli. Walk through the park, following signs to 'Arcetri', which will eventually lead you to Largo Enrico Fermi. The Observatory is located at number 5.
