Bus
To reach Badia A Settimo from central Florence, start at the main train station, Firenze Santa Maria Novella (SMN). Exit the station and find the bus stop located on the right side of the station. Look for Bus Line 28, which will take you towards Scandicci. Board the bus and ride for approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Badia a Settimo' stop, which is conveniently located near the church. From the bus stop, it is just a short walk to Via S. Lorenzo a Settimo, 15.
Tram
Begin your journey at the central train station, Firenze Santa Maria Novella (SMN). Walk to the nearby tram stop, located just outside the station. Take Tram Line 1 towards 'Villa Costanza'. After about 25 minutes, get off at the 'Scandicci' stop. From there, you can either walk (approximately 15 minutes) by heading south on Via Firenze until you reach Via S. Lorenzo a Settimo, or you can take a local bus (Line 28) to reach the 'Badia a Settimo' stop directly.
Walking
If you prefer walking, head to the historic area of central Florence, starting from the Duomo. Walk west towards the river Arno and cross the Ponte alla Carraia. Continue on Via della Vigna Nuova until you reach Via dei Serragli. Stay on this street which turns into Via della Chiesa until you reach Via S. Lorenzo a Settimo. This route is approximately 6 km and will take about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Enjoy the scenic views along the way!
