    If you are near the Florence Cathedral (Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore), start walking south on Via de' Calzaiuoli. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach Piazza della Signoria. From here, head towards the Ponte Vecchio and cross the bridge. Once you are on the other side, continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via dei Bardi. Turn left onto Via dei Bardi and follow it until it becomes Via di San Niccolò. Continue walking this road which will take you out of the city center and towards the hills. After about 2 kilometers, you will reach the Basilica di Santa Maria in Impruneta, located on Piazza Buondelmonti.
