Upon arrival at the San Gimignano bus stop, head straight towards the town center. You will be walking in the direction of the main gates of the town. Follow the signs that read 'Centro Storico' and walk along the main street until you reach Piazza delle Erbe, where the Duomo di Santa Maria Assunta is located.

Take a train from Florence Santa Maria Novella to Poggibonsi. Trains to Poggibonsi run frequently and the journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at Poggibonsi, exit the train station and look for the bus stop just outside. Here, catch a bus to San Gimignano, which takes about 30 minutes. After arriving at San Gimignano, walk towards the town center. Follow the signs for 'Centro Storico' until you reach Piazza delle Erbe, where the Duomo di Santa Maria Assunta is located.
