Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the historic center of Florence, start at the Piazza della Repubblica. From the square, head towards the Via dei Calzaiuoli, a pedestrian street that connects to the Duomo. Walk straight along Via dei Calzaiuoli until you reach the Duomo (Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore). Once you're facing the Duomo, turn left onto Via dei Servi. Continue straight until you reach Piazza San Marco. At the square, take a moment to enjoy the scenery and then continue straight onto Via Cavour. Walk along Via Cavour for about 10 minutes, and you will see the Obelisco on your right as you approach the Piazza della Libertà.
