Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Florence Cathedral (Duomo), walk south along Via dei Calzaiuoli for about 10 minutes until you reach Piazza della Signoria. From there, turn left onto Via della Ninna, and continue straight until you reach the Arno River. Cross the Ponte Vecchio bridge. Once across, continue straight on Via Guicciardini until you reach Piazza de' Pitti. The Palatine Gallery is located at Piazza de' Pitti, 1, right in front of you.

    From the Santa Maria Novella Train Station, take Bus Line C3 towards 'Piazza della Libertà'. Get off at the 'Piazza de' Pitti' stop. The Palatine Gallery is a short walk from the bus stop. Head towards the entrance at Piazza de' Pitti, 1.
